Restoration works.

Following photos are from a restoration in progress of a 1925 DB tourer.

The door frames are made of several laters of ply cut to shape and glues together - first section shaped by clamping to body to get curve and second piece glued to that to hold shape, Then remainder glued to make frame .... Door lock area and final shaping routed out.
Car belongs to Brian & Gloria White, Cervantes WA

I am hoping for a more detaild report on this restoration - Ed.

When you can not find a set of hood bows the last resort is to make them yourself.....
Don has borrowed a set from another member in Perth [ Brett Smith - also restoring a '25 ] and using a paper template of taper of frame , cut and formed some tubing to shape... some bespoke design end fittings and one set of hood bows later ..... .
